Roxane Carpenter: Children and Family Services Division Director Roxane Carpenter has a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies and a certification in Nonprofit Management from SUNY Oneonta. She has over 20 years experience working with children and families as a Special Education Advocate, Family Support Specialist and grant writer. She is an experienced trainer and a certified mediator. Roxane has been a significant catalyst in bringing the CAC under the Mental Health Association umbrella.

Julianne Baumann joined the CAC as Program Director in 2014.  She has over 10 years’ experience providing treatment and advocacy for children and families who have been affected by crime and abuse.  She has been part of the CAC MDT for over 5 years, working closely with law enforcement, mental health providers, area hospitals and community agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to promote child abuse prevention and awareness, and aid in the coordination of the prosecution of child abuse cases.  Julianne is also the Program Director for The REACH Center, a victim assistance program and rape crisis center of MHACGC, Inc., and coordinates the Columbia County Child Fatality Review Team.

Sarah Mlynarczyk is a nationally registered, board certified art therapist and licensed creative art therapist.  She has been providing psychotherapy to children and families in the Catskills since 2011.  Other experiences include running art and rehabilitation therapy groups in acute care adult inpatient psychiatric units in the Bronx and Brooklyn and teaching literacy through the arts in the Bronx and Queens.  Using a strength-based approach to trauma therapy, Sarah support a child’s need for creative communication and healing.

Jessie Ruoff is currently a Family Advocate at the Dr. Stephen and Suzanne Child Advocacy Center in Columbia County.  Jessie has a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Services from Empire State College.  Her experience includes over 3 years in the human services field working with Families in Need.  Jessie also has experience in counseling and providing assistance with community resources.  Prior to coming to the agency, Jessie has worked in the criminal justice field including courts systems and state prisons.

Patricia Munroe is the family advocate in the Greene County CAC bringing over ten years of experience providing counseling and advocacy for families who have experienced trauma.  Prior to her joining the team, she worked as a case manager at a substance abuse program.  She has obtained her CASAC-T and a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Empire. Patricia’s main goal is to advocate for families who have been affected by crime and abuse.

Kiara Williams is a trauma therapist at the Child and Advocacy Center of Columbia- Greene counties. She received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany, SUNY. Prior experiences include facilitating Wellness Self-Management groups and providing therapy for clients recovering from substances and alcohol in an outpatient setting in Albany.
